COMMUNITY CENTERS
 
Available to the public
The Community Life Center @ Washington Park East Cemetery is the new jewel of the east side of Indianapolis. Opened in 2001, this magnificent center is available for special events including weddings, concerts, business, civic and family functions, plus memorial services. You will find that our rates are quite reasonable. Non-profit groups can receive special rate treatment.
The Community Life Center represents our philosophy "that life's events, both joyous and reflective, can be celebrated in a single location. It exists as a community asset for Central Indiana to be enjoyed and treasured for many years to come."
There are numerous meeting rooms available including the Ballroom, which can seat up to 500 and accommodate 350 for meals. There is also a Board Room which is perfect for small meetings of up to 15 persons. The three-story Tower is a unique space to host a reception, open house, or medium-sized meeting.

Flanner & Buchanan Community Centers
A funeral is a time where family and friends come together to celebrate a life lived. Following in this spirit, Flanner & Buchanan is offering the use of its meeting spaces to the public.
These rooms are ideal settings for numerous functions and celebrations, such as parties, receptions, gatherings, seminars and almost any occasion where a large room is needed. Our funeral families often used these rooms for after service gatherings. There is no charge for our funeral families to use these rooms. For the public, there is a minimal fee to cover basic overhead.
You are encouraged to bring your own food or have a catered event. Our staff is happy to recommend a caterer if needed. A small kitchen is available for warming and simple food preparation. We provide tables and chairs at no charge. Our community centers have become popular, so call in advance to schedule your event.
